Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV), even when confronted with multiple sources of hard data, denies both that illegal aliens work on construction jobs in his state, and that E-Verify is effective in weeding out illegals from jobs in the first place. Reid opposed making E-Verify the law of the land for construction firms working on Federal “Stimulus” jobs.
