Rep. John Conyers (D-MI) inadvertently gives a great reason why they should take longer than 15 hours after finishing a bill in committee before voting on it on the floor.

REP. JOHN CONYERS, D – MICH.: I love these members that get up and say, Read the bill! Well, what good is reading the bill if it’s a thousand pages and you don’t have two days and two lawyers to find out what it means after you’ve read the bill?

   These clowns are the problem top to bottom: Those who conceive of the legislation; those who write it; those who vote on it; those who demagogue the issue; and the Congressmen who break their oath to uphold the Constitution and faithfully represent their constituents.
